This week, (S)Heat magazine features an exclusive interview with Big Brother winner Pete Benett and Big Brother Reject Pwincess Nikki Grahame. The article claims that Pete and Nikki’s on screen romance is real.
On paper, they were about as likely to get together as Tony Blair and Kate Lawler. But since leaving the Big Brother house less then two weeks ago, Pete and Nikki have proven their critics wrong. And from where heat is sitting [on a nice green sofa in a secret location in North London] they seem besotted. Whatever doubts Pete has had about moving too fast, he’s pushed them to the back of his mind. And having spent the last few nights alone together [in his hotel and her house], he tells heat with a grin he’s “up for giving it a go”. As Nikki? We think that’s pretty obvious …
Up for giving it a go!? And they say romance is dead.
Curiously, (S) Heat does not mention how much the “couple” were paid for the article or whether or not Pete is going to give his half to his mum as he did with the prize money from his Big Brother win.
