Maysoon Shaladi was the second of the three new housemates to enter the Big Brother House. She seemed bright-ish for a housemate, and just, y’know, nice but Maysoon earned herself an instant booing from the crowd as she went into the BB house by claiming she’s a successful model who works full-time and gets paid for it.
So is Maysoon really a successful model or is she just another wannabe?
Through some intrepid googling, I found out 28 year old Maysoon, a British born Muslim whose parents are originally from Syria got her first break in modelling at age fifteen when she was the star of her first commercial for Sky.
Since then, Maysoon or May as she is also know has been the TV host of National Talent Contest for UK Unsigned, where she was interviewing contestants, judges, celebrities as well as reporting back stage.
She has appeared in music videos (for the likes of Mel C, Sean Paul and Simon Webbe), TV adverts (Lynx), magazines (including front covers) and newspapers.
So she does sound pretty successful.
The following is one of the Lynx Adverts that Maysoon was in. She appears around twenty seconds into the advert and then again around thirty seconds in.
She’s also appeared in Melanie C’s music video for Next Best Superstar.

this is what we need to see in the big brother house! i like maysoon but she doesnt really do anything, its like she two different people when she is working and when she is in the house! i hope she opens up and she comes out of her shell!!!
I think she’ll be in there for a while so hopefully that will happen.
On the live feed, Maysoon seems quite intelligent and interesting but the highlights show just ignores her completely.
Same thing has been happening to Rachel for weeks now.

i think she seem like a nice normal person however a bit dull on the personality side. I just hope doesnt strip off or make some sort of porn just to prove she can be fun lol another thing she keep talking about success but she cant afford to buy he own place, if staring in clip is her idea of success then good luck to her.
do think its a shame she decided to leave early from the show as like people have said didnt really see much of her
but basically i wanted to ask where is she in the lynx advert i have had a look but none of the girl seem to be her..i really would love to see the one shes in think she is such a pretty girl……..loved the dance video bit slutty(but most dance ones are lol) but she does looked gorgeous!
I think it’s a real shame she left as well.
Sadly, they didn’t show much of her in the highlight shows but on livefeed she came over very well and seemed pretty intelligent.

I actually know Maysoon rather well and not only is she very sweet but incredibly witty she is also extremely funny! Big brother obviously didn’t show much of her in the highlights because she did not do anything controversial ie strip – swear – bitch…
She is Stunning, very kind and I am glad she is a friend of mine. I really am not just saying this because I know her, she really is!!:-)
The reason why she said she wanted her own place and gave a few addresses is because she didn’t want anyone to know including the paps where she lived and she didn’t want them camped outside her family’s home while she was in the house. I asked her about this myself after she came out as I was confused where that info had come from.
