Britain’s Got Talent: Snooker dog dies

Sad news for the world of TV Talent shows, not to mention a great loss to snooker.

Blue, the snooker playing border collie, who appeared with his owner Geoff Davies in the first round of this year’s TV “talent” show Britain’s Got Talent is no longer with us. He was accidentally run over and killed by owner.

The pooch, 11, who showed off his skills in the opening round of the ITV show this year, died in Geoff’s arms at his farm.

He said: “Blue was up to his normal tricks, chasing a JCB I was driving.”

“It was such a warm day he took cover under a tractor. I moved from the JCB to the tractor.”

“I didn’t know he was under the wheels. As soon as I realised what had happened I was horrified.”

“It was too late to call the vet, so I sat with him while he drifted off.”

“Of all the things, I was the one who ran him over.”

He has now buried his beloved pal in a coffin made by a carpenter friend.

Geoff added: “My son Scott put in his pool cue and three balls, white, black and red. He will be missed by everyone. He was a superstar dog.”

Let’s remember Blue by watching the clip of him playing snooker.
