Big Brother 9: Week 9 Nominations

The unlucky housemates facing eviction this Friday are…

Dale Howard and Stuart Pilkington.

It’s been a bit of a strange week as far as nominations were concerned: Darnell was banned from nominating because he crossed over the Heaven and Hell divide in the house and then kipped on the sofa instead of in the Luxury Bedroom, Nicole was exempt as a new arrival, Rachel was immune as Head of House and the Hell housemates failed the Brussel Sprout eating task meaning they forfeited the right to nominate.

With all these extra complications, it turned out that Dale and Stu were the most popular choices. But who voted for who and why?

Dale was first to nominate. His first nomination was for Mohamed. “He’s lazy and he’s got a bit of a temper on him. He’s not funny. He’s not entertaining, and he’s lazy. So why the f*** is he still in the house? I don’t understand.” Dale then nominated Darnell. “I still don’t agree with how he spoke to housemates, when we were picking Head of House, and he snapped and started kicking off with everyone. I completely disagree with how he spoke to people.”

Lisa nominated Rex and Stuart

Mohamed nominated Stuart and Dale

Rachel was next to nominate. Her first nomination was for Lisa. Rachel said she thinks the reason Lisa has been “stirring” and saying she wouldn’t act the way she does in the house in the outside world is because “she’s just not handling the house”. “For her own benefit, she should leave”. Rachel’s next nomination was for Stuart. “Stuart’s been hinting to everyone in the house that he wants to go home. And I do feel it’s sort of like he’s been putting pressure on all of us to nominate him.”

Rex nominated Dale and Stuart.

Sara was next to nominate. Her first nomination was for Mohamed. “He doesn’t really join in much with the group discussions and he goes to bed early pretty much every night. He doesn’t really contribute that much compared with everyone else”. Her second nomination was for Dale. “I know he really wants to go, and I feel so bad saying this because I really get along with him … but he doesn’t let me Kat and Rachel sing. He just hates our singing and he goes on about it all the time”.

Stuart was the final housemate to nominate. Stuart says he is nominating “tactically” and will vote for Sara and Mikey as “They are going to have less votes then me I think, so it gives me a better chance of being up this week and being involved in the nominations.” Big Brother clarified that Stuart wanted to vote for Sara and Mikey “Because you want to face eviction this week and you think that a nomination for them gives you a better chance at this”. Stuart agreed that that was what he wanted to do.
